I always find it fun to know about the people behind the characters. I'm not sure about you but I also just love to talk about myself. This would be the place to do that. One thread per person, please.

This is the Lafayer household. It's really more of a mansion. It's a white, blue trimmed, renovated plantation house with three stories and a beautiful wrap-around deck.

This is where all the Lafayer barns are, including the breeding and training barns. Of course, there are several, and it's all immaculately kept by an army of staff.

This is where all the horses are turned out during the day. They spread for acres and acres, giving the horses plenty of room to wander around.

Like the rest of Lafayer Stables, the trails spread over numerous acres. They're great for a relaxing ride, or for getting some endurance and stamina on a horse.

This is where all the live-in staff's rooms are. Most just have a room with a small kitchenette and tiny bathroom, but for the single person, it serves their needs.

This is the Damens' house. It is a simple white, two story house, five bedrooms, two baths. It's a fairly big house, and quite new.

This is where all the Glenwood barns are, including the breeding and training barns. Everything is kept neat and tidy by all the staff.

The trails sprawl over several acres and are great for pleasure riding or for working on a colt's endurance, although these aren't frequently used.

This is where the Waters live with Kilandria's little sister. It is a single story, four bedroom house, quite modest, but not in bad shape. It serves there purposes, since they are rarely in the house anyway.

This is where all the Riverside barns are, including the training and breeding barns.

Tinny's is a funky little diner downtwon, decorated in rather 50's style. Best known for their pies and superb ice cream treats, and always with some sort of music playing, Tinny's is another common place to find high schoolers, eating or doing homework.

Located right downtown, Heaven is the city's most popular nightclub. Two floors of dancing, partying, and having a great time. Legally you must be 18 to enter and 21 to drink, but hey, who says sneaking around ever hurt anyone?

The Rockeries, a pleasant park with winding dirt trails. Rather quiet, it's an excellent place for a walk, or just a nice chat. Visit the lower part, where there is a wide, open field, forests, and a winding stream, or the upper part, hilly and rocky with tended gardens and artistic rock formations.

Krakatoa Tack is your one-stop shopping center for all things equine related. You can find whatever you need her, from bits and bridles to grooming totes and dewormer. There's also a bulletin board of horses for sale and standing studs. Funnily enough, it's also a rather common hang out for the local high schoolers, especially the horse obsessed people. Better even than the mall.

Kadin County High is the local high school. They have a formidable basketball team, although their football is a little lacking, but nothing takes second place to racing in this community, not even high school sports.

Everyone loves to go bowling, right? 6 lanes to bowl on, all electronic scoring. Every Friday night, from 8 p.m. to midnight, they do a special bowl with cool music and disco lights. They serve free (non-alcoholic) drinks from the concession stand and it usually makes for a pretty good time. It's the community's attempt to keep the kids from partying.

This is the local ice skating rink. They offer lessons for every level of skater. They're open from noon to five on week days and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

The movie theater is another common hang out. There's three theaters, usually all playing a different movie, and they also have that amazing movie theater popcorn.

The lake's usually pretty quiet. It's a great place to come hang out if you need to think, and the swimming is great in the summer, as the water's usually quite warm. It's also deep enough for boating and jet skiing and fun stuff like that.

A medium sized mall with plenty of stores to see. Buy a trendy top for a night out, a camera, even just a bite of lunch at the foodcourt.

This is the main apartment complex. The rooms all warrant one small bedroom, a half bath (shower, toilet, and sink) and small kitchenette. 24 apartments in the building.

Weeping Willow is the only public boarding stable in the area. It's for the people that have horses of their own and don't have somewhere else to keep them. The owner is a friendly little lady who does her best to help everyone out.

Located a couple miles out of town, this large auction yard is where you can find your perfect companion. Plenty of weanlings, yearlings, even greenbroke racehorses can be found here, as well as your more 'ordinary' horses. Other livestock comes through occasionally as well. The auction is open, meaning any animal you have your eye on, you can go into its stall and check it out before it is brought before the crowd.

We all know what good ol' Wally-World is. It's the store we all know and love where you can find anything and everything you need, from clothes to CD's to groceries.

So you can talk about whatever her. Chitter chatter and be merry. Have a grand old time. Just be nice. No OOC fights, please.
